20,000 postcards from a private collection and the most vital of the fine arts in the "Empire"

September 27 will be an auction of "Postcards, photographs and books from a private collection", and on September 30 will be "an Auction of printed graphics of the XVIII–XX centuries."

27 September the auction house "Russian enamel" and salon "the Old album" will hold an auction, which will feature more than 20,000 postcards, hundreds of photographs and rare books.

The large lot includes over 1,000 postcards. Among the rare cards and series — "Steamers of different companies, the Life of the red fleet", "Moscow in the future", "Children-политики", "Solovki", "the Patriotic war of 1812 in Krylov's fables", "Fairy doll".

Suffice it to mention such names as I. I. Shishkin, L. S. Bakst, A. P. Ostroumova-Лебедева, E. S. Kruglikova, A. A. Deineka, V. D. Falileev.

the most Interesting lots of the auction — two sheets of G. A. Echeistov. One of them — book cover of Mayakovsky's "an Extraordinary adventure, formerly with Vladimir Mayakovsky summer at the dacha." Made in the technique of color linocuts, she is an excellent sample of Russian avant-garde book illustration.

the Collection of prints would not be complete without leaves outstanding master woodcuts of V. A. Favorsky. In the auction catalog presents six of his works, one of the most interesting among them — "10 years of Soviet power".

Expressive autolithograph "Lovers" and two fine etching "Foal" and "Boy with chicken" S. V. Gerasimov decorate the catalog. Sergei Gerasimov — is one of the best Soviet artists. His works are collectors of the same interest.

At the auction will feature prints artists-нонконформистов. Among them — rare linocut A. T. Zvereva "Build a house", a few sheets of M. M. Shemyakin, etchings of E. L. Kropivnitsky, as well as the work of an Unknown E. I. and I. G. Makarevich.
