Two small oil will be exhibited at the next monthly auction of Russian and Western European art October 12, 2016

Works of Boris Mikhailovich Kustodiev quite rare on the Russian antique market. Traditionally, the majority of the artist's works are sold at Western auctions. Even more pleased to present to the Moscow collectors, two beautiful paintings of outstanding masters — small canvases "Views of Moscow Kremlin" and "Mountain landscape". Both paintings come from the collection of the artist's daughter, Irina Kustodieva, and have on the momentum of its identity labels. Subsequently, the paintings were stored in a private Moscow meeting and did not leave it up to the present time.

the Moscow Kremlin is depicted in winter time, always a favorite artist. It is known that winter landscape was often the backdrop to many genre paintings, famous Kustodiev.

Mountains, on the contrary, presented to us in the summer. Most likely, this is Switzerland, where Boris Kustodiev vacationing with his family since 1911.
