February 25 "the literary Fund" will provide a unique twentieth-century movie posters at auction in the Library of cinematic art named after. S. M. Eisenstein
auction house "literary Fund" is a special program dedicated to the celebration of the Year of cinema in Russia. Its thematic core — auctioned a unique collection of posters of the twentieth century. The partner is Library of cinematic art named after S. M. Eisenstein.
At the auction, which will take place on 25 February, will be presented over 300 lots of posters spanning more than seventy years: from 1917-го until 1990-х years.
Graphic transcription of a story pre-war era represented in the auction performed by artists such as Nikolai Prusakov, Anatoliy Belsky, Iosif Gerasimovich, Vladimir Stenberg, Georgii Stenberg, Boris Zelensky and others, a huge impact on which had the ideas of the avant-garde and, in particular, the Soviet constructivism. Collectors worldwide appreciate these works not only as a historical artifact, but also as outstanding graphic works.
