Less than two weeks "House of antique books in Nikitsky" will hold its final auction of the year. On 17 December sale will feature over 400 lots, including rare books, autographs, manuscripts...

Traditionally, the catalog opens to the rarity of the eighteenth century, among them the organizers of the auction celebrate the hard work of Wilhelm Strateman "Theatron or historic disgrace", printed by Alexander-Невского monastery in 1724 (lot 1) and the book "Locating the teaching of his Imperial Majesty Peter II Emperor and autocrat of all Russia, and so on and so on and so forth" G. B. Bilfinger, published in 1728. (lot 2).

Attention all collectors, regardless of preference, is lot 9 — "the Experience of the Library and Cabinet of curiosities and natural history of the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of Sciences". The book is notable for the fact that this is the first description of a Russian library. The book is compiled by the bibliographer, librarian of the Academy of Sciences (1756) Ivan Grigorievich Burmeistera (1732-1788).

Collectors cards, probably will appreciate lot 10 — composed by F. Bauer "a General map of the military actions of the Russian army in Moldavia and Wallachia 1769 — 1770.". Bauer managed historically and geographically accurately convey all the vicissitudes of the Moldavian campaign: the capture of Khotyn, the battle of Larga and Kagul, battle of Speckled Grave, in which the author was directly involved, commanding the vanguard.

the auction will feature a poem by A. S. Pushkin "Ruslan and Ludmila" 1820 (lot 28). This is a very rare first edition of the first book of the poet. Moreover, under the cover survived engraving — is known about it to booksellers, but, as he wrote Vereshchagin, "this book is rare and usually comes without engraving".

the Instance of Pushkin's novel "prisoner of the Caucasus" 1822 (lot 30) is interesting in that it was owned by Prince Dmitri Tsertelev (1852-1911) — Russian philosopher, poet, essayist, and literary critic. It is an undoubted advantage of simplicity conceals the owners ' binding of the early XX century.

the Attention of all interested in the history of Ethnography is designed lot 51 — study G. Konisskogo "History of Rus or little Russia".

In 1883 in the journal "Bulletin of fine arts" was published biographical article critic V. V. Stasov, "Vasily Vasilyevich Vereshchagin". In the section of autographs up for auction the manuscript "On my life" (lot 58), written by the artist, as Supplement to the article in the same Stasov 1883 in Paris. Marinova manuscript written in ink on obverse and reverse sides of the sheets nabrasyvanii; the artist gives references to the pages and specifies that you want to add in the text.

this section also offers book by M. Gorky "the Stories" (lot 155) signed by the author. The inscription on the title page of the first volume, presumably addressed to K. D. Balmont, reads: "Dear Konstantin Dmitrievich happy new year! M. Gorky".

the Minister of culture of the USSR Ekaterina Alekseevna Furtseva addressed to the author's presentation inscription by the artist N. V. Kuzmin feature in book N. S. Leskova "Left-Handed. The tale of Lefty Tula and the steel flea" (lot 403), the book was published only 50 copies, preserved in the publishing of the woven cover and the dust jacket.

the manuscript of the poem "the Woman and death" (lot 199) Russian novelist and playwright Valery Yakovlevich Bryusov will be interesting for fans of the author's works, and collectors of autographs of prominent personalities.

the Organizers of the auction pay attention to lot 242 — the book of Alexei Kruchenykh "Duck's nest of bad words", unique work in the genre of Cubo-futurism, decorated by Olga Rozanova; exhibited an instance with painted by hand lithographs.

rare @the mdas full set (ten issues) propaganda-приключенческих stories "the Masses-Менд", written by M. Shaginyan and designed by A. Rodchenko (lot 295).

Rare and the book of K. S. Petrov-Водкина "Aoia. the adventures of Andryusha and Katya in the air, on earth and under the earth," it was published in 1914 (lot 251); in it the artist has not only made the design and wrote all the text.

Lovers of children's literature is the book of Samuel Yakovlevich Marshak "the Circus", published in 1928 in the design of the artist Vladimir Vasilievich Lebedev — is one of the most striking and interesting of the Soviet illustrators of children's books (lot 299).

At the end of the directory is the album-каталог of the monotypes by Marc Chagall (lot 408) with the autograph of the artist — dedicatory inscription addressed to Ekaterina Alekseevna Furtseva, on the foretitle: "Dear Catherine Alexeevna Furtseva / heart / greetings / Marc Chagall / 1968. St. Paul". The inscription is done with pen, ink and gouache; the artist has depicted himself surrounded by bouquets of red and blue, welcoming the recipient of the autograph.
