Among other rarities a big place on the auctions will be given to antique books and other artifacts depicting the travels in Russia and in various countries around the world, about the cultural sights of various cities and localities that were visited by the famous traveller and simple touristy@

Starting a trip to Russia, pay attention to books such as "Old Moscow. Stories from the old life of the mother see of the capital" I. M. Nevskaya Zastava (Outpost) (1891) or his book "Old Petersburg. Stories from the life of the former capital" (1889). Right after leaving the St-Петербурга, certainly useful book A. I. Uspensky "Pavlovian palaces and Palace Park" (1912).

to Navigate the terrain will help a "Plan of the city of Moscow with an indication of the direction of the Moscow circular railway and its branches by final governmental explorations 1902-1903". (1903), "Map of the Caucasus region" (1868) and "the Guide to Turkestan and Central Asian Railways and Tashkent" (1914).

Torzhok" from the series "Cultural treasures of Russia" (1913-1914), "Valday Town and its district" (1913) and "the ancient Monuments of wooden architecture of Irkutsk province" (1915).

Crimean travelers will discover undoubtedly a lot of interesting facts in these books presented at the July auctions, as "Journey to Tauris in 1820" I. Muravyova-Апостола (1823; copy from the library of Countess Sophia Vladimirovna Stroganova, nee Princess Galitzine), "Ancient sea of Azov and the Crimean news" Gottlieb Bayer (1782; copy from the library of the famous bibliophile N. P. Smirnova-Сокольского), "the Christian antiquities of the Crimea, the Caucasus and Kiev" (1891; copy from the library of architect A. V. Shchusev), and to describe their perceptions of travels in the Crimea in the Crimean species postcards "an open letter to Old Crimea. Published under the direction of Dumont-Дюрвиля, the Captain of the French Royal Navy" (1836-1837), "From notes on the circumnavigation by boat Walrus" (1863), "Day notes of the journey of Captain Nikolai Rychkov in Kirgis-Кайсацкой steppe" (1772), "a Journey in Russian Embassy afganistanu and Bukhara Khanate in 1878-1879," (1882-1883), "Steppe life in Siberia. Children's books about travels to distant countries will be presented to the famous "the Travels and surprising adventures of Robinson Crusoe" by D. Defoe (1899), books of Jules Verne's "Around the world in eighty days" and "From the earth to the moon and around the moon" (1900-е gg.).
