From the editor: We gave a rating of artprice, but in fairness it should be noted that its authors had been silent some limited edition works by Andy Warhol, sold at auction in 2013. Transaction amount quite allow these things to take their respective places in the top ten.
"Zebra the Greve" (color silkscreen, copy 14/150) was sold for 4.6 million dollars (Heritage Auctions, Dallas, November 2, 2013); for 3.8 million dollars at the same auction went a series of 11 color silkscreen "Flash — November 22, 1963" (copy 96/200). At the same auction were two sales of printed works of Warhol in the range of 3.5–4.1 million dollars.
Probably artprice rating up to retrieve data from Heritage Auctions. If it took into account all these sales, the top-10 not have enough space nor the majority of works by Munch, nor a series of lithographs by Odilon Redon.
