Tomorrow, November 29, the eve of the 400th anniversary of the founding of the Romanov dynasty, auction house Christie's will auction devoted great Russian books and manuscripts from the imperial provenance. These publications once belonged to Mikhail Fedorovich, Empress Elizabeth, Catherine the Great, Emperor Paul I, Alexander I, Alexander II, Alexander III, Nicholas I, Nicholas II, and the great princes and princesses.

Auctions auction tomorrow span five centuries, dating back to the beginning of the XVI century illuminated manuscript of excellent Russian language" interpretation on St. Matthew, "John Chrysostom to the collection of handwritten postcards younger daughters of Nicholas II, addressed to their friend, the latter of these cards were sent shortly before the death of all members of the Romanov family. The collection includes works of art as well as works on geography, science, art, numismatics and history, including the military events. All editions have impeccable provenance and is in excellent preservation.

particular note is the album heraldic painting (estimate 150-200 thousand pounds). Of equal interest to collectors is a copy of Lydia Chara owned Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova, with illustrations, hand-painted itself princess (2-3 thousand pounds), as well as a selection of photos from the fields of the Russian-Turkish War with the handwritten signature of Alexander III (5-8 thousand pounds).
