Auction House "Magnum Ars," June 20, 2012 will hold another auction of Russian and Western European art XIX - XX centuries. On sale will feature approximately 100 works of painting and drawing, ten-tenths of them - the work of Russian artists.

Top auction lots are a collection of works of I. Shishkin «in the woods. Shmetsk Narva "in 1888 (lot 13, estimate of 1-1.5 million dollars) and Polenov «View of the Oka in the autumn" (lot 21, estimate 300-350 thousand dollars).

Among the top lots of the auction - a unique bed «Rocks on the shore" in 1891 (lot 24, estimate of 60-100 thousand dollars ), representing the early period of the outstanding artist and thinker. The work comes from a famous collection of Moscow scientist IM Sarkizova-Serazini (1887-1964).

The sale put the big picture Russian avant-garde Amazon «Chusovaya River" in 1927 (lot 28, estimate 300-400 thousand dollars) , amazing courage and strength nezhenskoy beautiful temperament. "Chusovaya River" - a rare product of Russian expressionism. The work belongs to a series of landscapes of the Ural Udaltsova shown in 1928 at an exhibition at the Russian Museum and caused heated debates of contemporaries. Collection of interest, of course, presents a vivid picture of the famous painter «Transparent autumn morning" of the 1910s ( Lot 35, estimate of 80-120 thousand dollars).

Landscape Dobuzhinsky «Park in Cherry" (lot 31, estimate 40-70 thousand dollars), established in 1915, is a rare example of appeal to the author's technique of oil painting. In the same year Dobuzhinsky successfully exhibited this work at the exhibition "World of Art" in Moscow.

At auction the collection also features works by I. Levitan , Konstantin K. Korovin , Boris D. B. D. Grigoriev , Z. E. Serebryakova , F. A. Malyavina , Y. Yuri Klever (v.) , P. Krymov , P. Kuznetsova , I. Shuhaeva , D. D. Zhilinsky , A. A. Labasa , D. A. Nalbandian , Alexander G. A. G. Tischler .
