April 7, 2012 House of antique books on Nikitsky will hold the first auction of "rare antiquarian books, manuscripts and autographs." Start the auction at 15.00.

The sale will be put up 300 lots, including rare books on history and art, opening books of Russian poets and writers, autographs, letters and manuscript heritage of Russian writers, philosophers, and political figures.

Among the literary archives of the Russian writers, presented at the auction, a special place is occupied by the famous artistic heritage of the emigre journal "Chimes", published in Riga in 1925-29, respectively. At the auction are numerous manuscripts of famous Russian poets and writers of the first third of the twentieth century, among them K. Balmont, Bunin, N. Berdyaev, B. Zaitsev, D. Merezhkovsky, Remizov, S. Black, I. Shmelev, and many other.
