6 May evening auction at Christie's «The Art of Impressionism and Modernism», New York, of the 48 offered lots were sold to 38 (79%). Total sales amounted to 102 of 767 000 dollars.
On the new owners of 9 of those that were top-10 house Christie's said no, the work of P. Picasso «Woman in a Hat» (1971), who bought the art dealer.
