May 6, on Tuesday in New York will be held the evening trading «The Art of Impressionism and Modernism». Collectors will be represented by 58 lots, including the first acknowledged masterpieces of the masters of Impressionism and the works of postwar painting and sculpture.

Among the three works of Monet, which will be exhibited for sale, canvas «Railway bridge in Arzhantee» (Le Pont du chemin de fer a Argenteuil) - One of the most important works of the artist remaining in private collections.

One of the key events of the evening auction Christie's will auction an impressive appearance on the group sculptures and paintings of Alberto Giacometti.
