From 24 to 27 April, Sotheby's will show in the capital of an exhibition of top lots auction of contemporary art, to be held in New York on 14-15 May.

The exhibition, which included the work of Andy Warhol, Demiena Hirst, Jean-Michel Basque and other famous artists of the twentieth century can be seen in «Barvikha Luxury Village». It seems that Russian collectors in the auction house Sotheby's considered one of the most important potential buyers in the market of modern, not only Russian, art.

Today, no auction of contemporary art is not without the work of Andy Warhol. Estimeyt his works under the name «Ladies and gentlemen» - 2,5-3,5 million, with the «Skull» provisionally estimated at 1,2-1,8 million dollars. The biggest concern for potential buyers, perhaps, would be «Self» artist created them in 1986 (estimeyt lot - 2,5-3,5 million dollars). Warhol wrote a grim and expressive work in the silk-screen technique shortly before his death.

One of the most expensive lots in May Sotheby's, a part-time and valuable example of Moscow's allies will be painting the artist Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basque. Estimeyt his work «Untitled» ( «The Prophet I») - 9-12 million dollars. The Creative Career Baskov went up sharply in the early 80's of the last century, when the artist began to work with Andy Warhol. In New York City studio Annina Nosei Gallery, he created a series of works «Untitled». Painting «Untitled» ( «The Prophet I») - the only piece in this series.

At the pre-show will show a picture of Richard Prince «Nurse millionaire» (2002). Estimeyt work on the creation of which inspired the cover of Prince dime novels of 1960 - 3,5-4,5 million dollars.
