Trades postwar and contemporary works of Russian art at auction house Sotheby's had 5706 million dollars. Auction 130 lots included: the work of Oleg Vasiliev, Komar and Melamid, Oscar Rabin, Evgeny Rukhin, Ilya Kabakov, Svetlana Kopystyanskoy, Alexander Kosolapov, the team of artists AES + F, and others, ITAR-TASS news agency.

Earlier in the morning session, the auction of Russian art masterpieces of the nineteenth century brought 30.4 million dollars. At the auction was put up 191 lot: works by Ivan Aivazovsky, Arkhipov Kuindzhi, Ivan Shishkin, Alexei Bogolyubov, Nicholas Roerich, Konstantin and Vladimir Makovsky, and other masters.
