Project Homo Faber Guide, the launch of which is scheduled for September 17, 2020, will bring together more than 650 artists from 25 countries of Europe, including Russia
Platform Homo Faber Guide — scale project developed by Switzerland-based non-profit international Foundation for The Michelangelo Foundation, dedicated to the support and development of crafts, decorative-прикладного art and design. At the start of the project it will be attended by more than 650 artists from 25 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UK. According to the organizers, by 2021, the number of participants should be increased to 100 people.
the aim of the project is to create an international network that will unite the creators of the interior design, crafts and decorative-прикладного art with their potential buyers throughout the world. According to the organizers, this can be the master of "from all corners of Europe, from the glassblowers of Venice to the ceramists of Stockholm, makers of tapestries from Paris to London engravers, jewelers from St.-Петербурга to goldsmiths from a vein or even from the most inaccessible corners of the continent."
However one idea about creating conditional hypermarket of all the possible crafts and applied arts the project objectives are not limited. A big role in it plays and educational component. These goals will serve as the site sections devoted to individual artists, brands and manufacturers, and also "Messengers" (Ambassadors where you can get recommendations of famous people), "Museums" (Museums), "Galleries and shops" (Galleries & Shops) and a separate section on the master-классам and other methods of gaining experience in various arts — "Knowledge" (Experiences, which will include the opportunity to visit workshops and trips to special exhibitions-ярмарки).
