26 January 2019 in Brussels kicks off 64-я art fair BRAFA
At BRAFA will be presented classical European art, modernism, contemporary art, archaeology and other areas. The honorary guest of the fair this time will be the British Duo Gilbert and George (Gilbert&George)
From 26 January to 3 February 2019 the complex Tour & Taxis will be 64-я art fair BRAFA. 133 gallery of the 16 countries, including Russia, has selected the best, valuable and rare things in different areas of the arts — from archaeological finds to works of contemporary artists and masterpieces of different eras, styles and continents. In addition, the Royal Chamber of art-дилеров Belgium (ROCAD.be) will celebrate its 100-летие nonprofit project — exhibition of 30 masterpieces from private collections.
Fair BRAFA is now at the peak of popularity. The proof is the participation of the leading galleries from around the world and a record number of visitors: in 2018 it exceeded 65 thousand.

- Von Vertes (Zurich, Switzerland) — paintings, drawings and sculpture of the XX-XXI вв.;
- Willow Gallery (London, UK) — impressionism and European paintings.
Two galleries returning to the fair:
- Maison Rapin (Paris, France) — decorative art of XX–XXI вв.;
- Pierre Segoura (Paris, France) — painting, drawing, art, antique furniture and photography.

BRAFA — fair generalist, with over 20 different areas and directions. As in recent years, the approach to the compilation of collections has changed significantly and become increasingly popular so-called cross-collectibles, where the overlap between the works of different times and styles, BRAFA does not divide stands by sector, and experts from completely different areas are inevitably nearby. the Exhibition of 30 masterpieces in honor of 100-летия the Belgian Royal chamber of Antiques and art-дилеров (ROCAD.be)
In 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the Belgian Royal chamber of Antiques and art-дилеров, which will now bear the name of the Royal Chamber of art-дилеров (ROCAD.be). This organisation have a lot in common with BRAFA, because the members of the house stood at the origins of the fair. Therefore, the choice of BRAFA to display works from private collections acquired from members of the house, is not accidental. Guests of the fair will see more than 30 works, including works of old masters, modernists, painting, decorative arts, archaeology, porcelain, primitive art, etc. To the opening of the exhibition will coincide with the release of the book about the amazing and unpredictable world of art-дилеров. Journalist Thijs Demelmeyster the present anthology, which brought together under one cover thousands of stories of professional life, in the framework of Brafa Art Talks Sunday, 27 January.
