The cooperation will start with the educational course "Basics of the modern Museum" and the joint master's program in curating and Museum management

the Gallery and the University are working on joint cultural, scientific and educational programs in the field of history and theory of art, conferences, seminars, symposiums, exhibitions. These projects are aimed at the General public and professional community — Museum workers, restorers, art historians, culturologists, students and teachers interested in improving their skills. Collaboration will contribute to bridging the gap between academic education and the world museums, theoretical art studies and practice of Museum work — gap, which is now very acute in a professional environment.

the Training course "Basics of the modern Museum", intended for students Historical faculty of Moscow state University, will begin in the spring of 2019. The specialists of the Gallery will complement the historical-теоретическую part of the course practice-ориентированными sessions devoted to such topics as economic and legal aspects of the activities of the Museum; features of construction of the Museum and temporary exhibitions@the semicolon problem of the relationship of the Museum with the audience@the semicolon the principles of keeping the art@the semicolon key Museum profession. Some classes will be held in the exhibition halls and storage facilities of the Tretyakov gallery.

Joint master's programme aims to prepare highly qualified specialists in demand in research, curatorial and managerial activities in the field of art of modern times. The program includes three areas: Curating, "art Theory and art criticism", "Museum management". Start of the program will be held in the fall of 2019. To do everyone can with a diploma of bachelor or specialist on a competitive basis.

In the framework of the VI Moscow international Biennale for young art curator, a group of undergraduate and graduate students of Historical faculty of MSU named after M. V. Lomonosov, in partnership with the Tretyakov gallery is preparing a special project "Art", which will be housed in the Museum-квартире Apollinaria Vasnetsov in Furmanny lane in the summer of 2018. The focus of the project — the relationship between art and audience, traditional forms and contemporary artistic strategies. The project "Art", its name referring to the theoretical work Apollinaria Vasnetsov, — is an attempt to understand how today builds communication between work and viewer. Invited young curators, young artists will present their view on how this system is functioning today, making intervention in the territory of art of the last quarter of XIX – the first half of the twentieth century and entering into creative dialogue with him.

VIII international scientific conference "Actual problems of theory and history of art" will be held in Moscow from 2 to 6 October 2018. The Tretyakov gallery for the first time will become a Museum-партнером this international forum, which is held every two years, Moscow state University imeni M. V. Lomonosova and Sankt-Петербургским state University. The theme of the conference — "Borders and horizons". The conference program includes plenary and eleven thematicsections covering all periods in the history of art — from the Ancient world to the present. In addition to participating in the work of the academic sections, the experts of the Tretyakov gallery is preparing a special section devoted to exhibiting art XX — beginning of the XXI century; to the participation of invited Directors and curators of the world's largest museums.
