Samuel Vanhoegaerden: sold extremely interesting work of CY Twombly (USA 1928-2011) "Offshoots untitled" (Rome, 1971). Paper, oil, pencil and wax crayon. The declared value of about €2 500 000.

Harold t'kint de Roodenbeke: sold many things, including the brilliant work of Sam Francis (San-Матео, 1923 — Santa-Моника, 1994) "untitled" (acrylic on paper, 1975) for €100,000, the work of Polyakov and all the "Beach" Leon Spilliaert (1905) in the price range from €100 000 to €200 000.

Alexis Pentcheff: sold unique and unusual work "Flowers of evil" by Henri Martin, inspired by Charles Baudelaire; negotiations on the canvas by Kees van Dongen "Parisians, or the Path of virtue."

Galerie de la Présidence (debut at BRAFA): sold several works, including brush Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, Hans Hartung, albert Marquet.

Claude Bernard: the fair was held successfully sold a few silver works of Huge, canvases Trophimus, Ronan Barrot, Eva Jospin.

Bailly: buyers from China, Belgium, France and Switzerland sold several canvases of Hans Hartung, Jean Metzinger Jean-Поля Riopelle's in the price range from €100 000 to €250 000 and two works worth more than €300 000. Under further negotiations with customers from Russia and the Netherlands.

Whitford Fine Art: several works sold in the price range from €40,000 to €85,000, including Joseph Lacass, British pop artist-арта Clive Barker, the English artist, Frank Avre Wilson, outstanding things of Brahma Bogart 1960-х years.

the Sculpture

Univers du Bronze: sold a few items, including a stunning "the man with the wineskin" by Georges minne (1866-1941). This bronze sculpture is covered with showy brown patina, participated in the Brussels exhibition of club "Free aesthetics" (1898). New owner found and white marble "Fountain" (the second name — "Small fountain") Field-Альбера Bartolome (Thiverval-Гриньон, 1848 — Paris, 1928), one of the five famous works of the author of the marble.

Xavier Eeckhout: sold a significant number of items, including masterpiece collection, elegant plaster sculpture of a Puma by Rembrandt Bugatti (Milan, 1884 — Paris, 1916), approximately dated 1911 and, most likely, originally owned by Adrian Hébrard. The sculptor made two copies: the second is in Rome, in the collection of the Museum of modern and contemporary art (inventory number 2672).

Osborne Samuel (debut at BRAFA): sold several sculptures of Lynn Chadwick and Henry Moore.

Maeght (debut at BRAFA): sold unique sculpture by the Belgian author Paul Bury made of steel pipes 69 in 1968.

Santos Arte (debut at BRAFA): sold monumental sculpture by Pablo Atchugarry (Montevideo, 1954) from white Carrara marble. A single instance, the price range from €100 000 and €200 000

Rarity

Finch & Co: sold to the high relief of the "Immaculate conception" — Flemish fragment of the "Annunciation" of the XVII century ivory (approx.€25 000)

Theatrum Mundi: sold spacesuit Russian cosmonaut Gennady Strekalova, visited on Board the "Soyuz T-10" in August — December 1990 (price €130 000), and a pair of fossilized leaves of palm trees (approximately €60 000). Received two offers to purchase the head of a Triceratops, one of which — from a private buyer from Germany.

Archaeology

ArtAncient (debut at BRAFA): a gallery sold a complete collection of Cypriot vessels early Bronze age (C. 2200 BC), which belonged to Desmond Morris, a cost of €3 500 each, as well as a number of other items, including Egyptian relief of the Middle Kingdom (C. 2050 BC) and the leaf of the giant petrified trees aged about 55 million years.

Cybele: sold to head of Roman youths (first century ad) and a bronze Aphrodite (Venus) the early Empire (first century BC — II century ad (both items were estimated at €100 000)

Asian art

Éric Pouillot: sold outstanding quality terracotta figure of a thick riding position, made in the technique of Sanya-цай — tri-color blue-янтарно-кремовой ceramics (China, the era of the Tang dynasty, 618-907 ad), worth €60 000-80 000, and a graceful figure of a dancer gray clay with traces of coloring (the Han dynasty, China, 206 BC — 8 ad), €25 000-35 000.

Grusenmeyer-Woliner's: the gallery sold a large bronze head of Buddha with traces of gilding from Thailand (XIV century, the period of Lanna decor state).

Hotel: sold several prints from a unique collection of 55 framed prints from the series "100 famous views of the provinces" (Shokoku Meisho Hyakkei) Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-1869).

Bertrand de Lavergne: sold a pair of candlesticks from the service, owned by Louis-Жану-Мари de Bourbon, Duke of Pentabromo, grandson of Louis XIV. Service was made by order of his father in 1725, and exported from China during the reign of the Emperor Anjana (1723-1725). The items remained very small.

Finch & Co: sold a couple of great figures of Chinese court attire in the fine filigree work of silver and enamel that sit on the traditional horseshoe-shaped chairs. China, XIX century

Contemporary art

Albert Baronian: sold three significant works of Gilbert and George (2016), a painting by Jules Olitski (1972), the work of Lionel Esteve (2017) and drawing Sol LeWitt, dated 1982.

Rodolphe Janssen: collector from the USA for about €200 000 sold large-scale painting of Karel Appela "the wailing woman" (1953). Collectors from Belgium, the UK and France was "still there" Pierre Aleshinskogo (1977) for €85,000 and several works of Thomas Leroy (€15 000-24 000).

Gladstone: sold "Shiny mirror bronze (cobalt)" Anish Kapoor (2015) and all the gilded bronze Hugo Rondinone called "the Sun within 4 hours of the day" (2016) — is the second casting in a limited edition of three.

Bernier/Eliades: sold "Purple Gobo" — unique paint job Tony Ouslera with the movies (which cost from €150 000 to €200 000).

Maruani Mercier: a sold the historical work of Peter Halley, Francesco Clemente and other artists performed in 1980-е years.

Comics

Belgian Comic Strip: sold superb quality original design by Georges Remi (alias Hergé (1907-1983)), depicting Tintin, Snowy, captain Haddock and the detectives Thomson and Thompson (1968). Chinese ink, pencil, paper. Price — around €85 000.

Glass, porcelain, ceramics

Marc Heiremans: for € 12 000 sold Oriente vase Olaf, which Corrado (Dino), Martens (Venice, 1894-1970) was produced in 1952 for a manufacturer of Murano glass Aureliano, Toso in the technique of free-blown, with inserts of glass shards, twigs, zanfirico and colored glass.

Jean Lemaire: sold trihedral saltcellar from the service of the Duke of Orleans, ordered the porcelain manufactory Tour in 1787 (C. 1787. Height: 11 cm.). The rarest item is included in one of the most famous sets-либо performed on Tour.

Robertaebasta: almost sold out items, including bar Cabinet maple wood with brass ornaments (Italy, CA. 1950) and Paolo Bouffe (1903-1970).

Mathivet: sold shop (1900), Carlo Bugatti (Milan, 1856 — Molsem, 1940) for €35,000, and a bronze floor lamp Frank Evennou "Creeper" (Liane, 2017).

the Old masters

Klaas Muller: the Main hit of the fair of 2018 has become a great painting "Diana and nymphs hunting deer" (1635-1640), where human figures are painted by Peter Paul Rubens (Siegen, 1577 — Antwerp, 1640), animal figures — Paul de vos (Hulst, approx. 1591 — Antwerp, 1678), and for landscape answered Jan Wildens (Antwerp, 1585-1678). Dario Ghio: sold unusual Royal relic — urn of silver, gilt bronze and polychrome enamel reliquary casket in the original c the Royal coat of arms. Presented with the Austrian Queen Maria-Терезии in 1852.

d Arschot & Cie: collectors from Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland sold a few items cost from €5 000 to €80 000, including the Cup-наутилус of silver and the clam shell Cephalopoda nautiloidea (southern Germany, Landshut, 1630, master jürg, Wingard, price approx. €75 000).

Furniture

Costermans: sold unique writing Desk in Louis XV style. Chinese lacquer multilayer lacquer Martin, initials F. G. (françois Garnier).

Berger: the fair was held for the gallery successfully. Among the items sold — chest of drawers in Louis XVI style Crescent shaped with ornaments of gilded bronze and floral ornaments in the technique of marquetry masters of Charles Topino (CA. 1770), as well as extremely elegant sofa table in Louis XVI style. This drafting table mahogany decorated with gilded bronze went approximately €80 000;, this model was called "and-ля Tranchant" in honour of the Swiss doctor Theodor Transana. In addition, was sold a set of four carved and painted chairs "and-ля Ren" birch.

Floris van Wanrooij: sold the Cabinet with scenes from the Metamorphoses of Ovid, the work of Michiel Koine (Antwerp, 1618 — CA. 1663) and the workshop of the brothers Forhand, from the collection of the Museum of Rockoxhuis in Antwerp.

De Backker Medieval Art: the Paris collection went to the Museum rare — figure of the Madonna and child made of limestone with traces of the original and later colouring (France/Lorraine, CA. 1330). Also sold drenovci fragment of oolitic limestone (Italy, VIII century).

Desmet: sold fragile "Madonna and child" by Andrea di Lazzaro Cavalcanti, called Buggiano, (Borgo-а-Буджано, 1412 — Florence, 1462). Florence, approx. 1440-1450, price approx. €55 000.

Carpets and textiles

N. Vrouyr: the carpet on the cardboard Michel Sephora (Antwerp, 1901 — Paris, 1999), made in the workshops of Elisabeth De Sadeleer (Belgium, CA. 1960).
