Russian Museum has come to Yaroslavl

Today in the Yaroslavl art Museum opens the third cultural-выставочный centre (CEC) of the Russian Museum. Previously, the centers of this format were opened in the Spanish city of Malaga and Kazan

Branch of the Russian Museum in Yaroslavl is opening an exhibition of Nicholas Roerich: 50 works came from St.-Петербурга, and one was provided by a local Museum. The exhibition presents different periods of creativity of the Roerich — of his works, created before 1917 in Russia, theatrical graphics and paintings created in India 1930-40-х years. Exhibition in Yaroslavl will last till 26 Nov 2017.

Nicholas Roerich included in top-10 of most expensive Russian artists. Auction record — $12 125 137 — is still owned by his picture of "the Works of the mother of God".
