In Museum storerooms found unknown Russian avant-garde

This is a story with a happy ending. For the two works by unknown artists, which were stored in the vaults of the Yelets city Museum in 1919, Andrei Sarabianov has established authorship. It turned out that it Klyun and Rozanova

Russian avant-garde, the true value of which at that time nobody imagined after the revolution and even much later distributed via the provincial museums.

As reports the TV channel "Culture", for many years the paintings were stored in the vaults and only in the early 2000-х part of their exposed in the exhibition. The authorship of the two paintings all the time remained a mystery to the public and the Museum staff. Finally recently the light on their origin shed research specialist on Russian avant-garde Andrew Sarabyanova.
