Announced the finalists of the Kandinsky Prize 2016
In the main nomination — "project of the year" — expect Yevgeny Granilshchikov, group "Blue soup" and Andrey Kuzkin
two other nominations — "Young artist. Project of the year" and "Scientific work. History and theory of contemporary art" — is also claimed by the three finalists.

the Finalists selected by an International jury (in the categories "project of the year", "Young artist. Project of the year") and the Jury (nominated for "Scientific work. History and theory of contemporary art") of the 33 nominees that were presented to 17 artistic projects in the category "Project of the year" 10 art projects — in the category "Young artist. Project of the year" and 6 scientific-исследовательскими works — in the category "Scientific work. History and theory of contemporary art". The status of the award finalists, according to the regulations in each category get three authors, artistic works or scientific works which got the highest rating on the results of the jury vote. The vote count was made on 2 November 2016. The control of conformity of the voting procedures the rules of the Kandinsky Prize on the day of counting of votes was conducted by EY. The jury of the Kandinsky Prize X presented on the website of the award.
the X Winners of the Kandinsky Prize will be announced in December 2016 at the official awards ceremony.
