10 February 2016 in Moscow, the Palace of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, held a ceremonial signing of partnership agreement between the State Hermitage, the State Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin and the Foundation Louis Vuitton. The agreement is the joint work on the exhibition "Masterpieces of the new art", which opens at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris on 20 October 2016.
the Agreement was signed by Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum Svetlana Adaksina, chief curator of the State Hermitage Museum, Marina Loshak, Director of the State Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin, Jean-Поль Claveri, Advisor to the President of the Foundation Louis Vuitton, and Sophie Durrleman, Executive Director of the Foundation.
the signing was attended by Vladimir Medinsky, Minister of culture of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Shvydkoi, the special representative of the Russian President for international cultural cooperation, Mondoloni Frederick, Minister-советник of the Embassy of France in Russia.
the Exhibition "Masterpieces of the new art" dedicated to the famous Russian collector Sergei Shchukin, the exhibits for the exhibition grant the State Hermitage Museum and the State Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin. Chief curator — Anna Baldassari, historian of contemporary art, chief curator of heritage and former President of the National Picasso Museum in Paris.
As said Mikhail Piotrovsky, this exhibition will be the highlight of the Year of Russia in France.

the exhibition also will feature works of Russian avant-garde from the collection of the Tretyakov gallery, the creation of which artists, including Kazimir Malevich, Alexander Rodchenko and Mikhail Larionov, was inspired by French colleagues.
