Entrance to all museums children under 16 free of charge

As reported by the Agency TASS, the Russian museums will soon be free to children under the age of 16 years. This was stated by the Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky at a meeting on culture and art at the President of the Russian Federation.

"for the First time this year we conducted an experiment in which children up to 16 years in nearly half of subjects of the Russian Federation in all Federal museums go free. We found funds to offset the costs of museums. I hope that soon all the museums the kids will enjoy free access", — said Medina. Thus, according to him, 2015 is a paid Museum attendance increased by 14 %, while extra-budgetary revenues of museums increased by almost 30 %.
