The former Finance Minister of Romania withdrew 101 artwork
Former Finance Minister of Romania Darius Rolls (Darius Valcov) was arrested on charges of corruption and taking bribes. Investigators believe that the Minister had received bribes, being mayor of the city of Slatina. He had seized gold bars, almost half a million dollars in cash and 101 a work of art. the Investigation began after the Prosecutor's office received evidence that the Rolls, had allegedly received a bribe in the amount of 2 million Euro contract for the execution of public works by local firm in the city Slatina@
once investigators officially stated about corruption Roller, the Minister of Finance immediately resigned. His guilt, however, he denies. "I can only say that I'm innocent and I'm going to defend his innocence to the end," commented Rolls in an interview with news Agency Reuters.
