Buildings, like people, have their own history. Especially interesting and attractive is the fate of those who have left their mark in the history of architecture. The building of the cinema "Drummer" — vivid example of constructivism. Since its opening on 7 November 1931 "Drummer" has undergone several transformations: from one of the most advanced theaters of the Soviet Union up to the car show-рума and casino. Today it houses under one roof, an exhibition of works by Kandinsky Prize nominees. But the "Drummer" is already preparing to enter a new phase of his life. In near future, it will be closed for repairs to be transformed into a Museum of modern art, new cultural center.
