Police arrested four perpetrators of Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge robbery April 13 of this year . Stolen securities were 18 Chinese subjects - mostly jade figurines of animals and vessels. The cost of the missing works, according to police, several million pounds.
In the case of robbery was arrested a 15-year-old boy and his three accomplices, 29, 25 and 24 years. Two of the detainees (Patrick Keeley and Steve Coughlan) lived in communities of Gypsies in east London, the third man, Robert Smith, lived in Suonli (Kent), name and place of residence of 15-year-old boy was not disclosed. All four will be tried in Cambridge in September this year.
Unfortunately, the stolen items have not yet been found. Among the outstanding works in the search - six works of the era of the Ming Dynasty (jade figurine of a bull of the XVI century, jade statuette of a horse of the XVII century, figure of an elephant). Were also stolen a bowl and a vase of jade and bronze ornaments and a vessel for washing brushes.
