"Rhapsody in Red"

Red, it was decided to make all the content of the pavilion - chairs and tables in a cafe, hammocks, table tennis and even entertaining such trifles as kites, balls and frisbee. What inspired the architect of this creation? "There are moments when the summer sun catches your eye, and blinking, you feel that the whole world dissolves into the red." Of course, the design is also a dedication to London, whose "firm" color is red: remember the famous double-decker buses and phone booths.
Summer Pavilion Serpentine - is not only a place to rest. There are lectures and performances, as well as "Marathon", which suits the gallery director, curator Hans Ulrich Obrist (Hans Ulrich Obrist). This 24-hour event dedicated to artistic experimentation, discussions and poetry.
