The Museum-estate the Derzhavin (All-Russia Pushkin Museum, St. Petersburg) opened an exhibition of works of masters Quilt "patchwork amusement».
The exhibition presents the work carried out both on the basis of traditional Russian motifs, so and representing the trend of modern art-textiles.
On display are unique works in different techniques Quilt: "crazy", applique, chenille, "lyapachiha", hand quilting, and many others. Most sign from the exhibition - "drill", "Wedding", "Birth", "Muses of the Silver Age", "Day" - the result of collective creativity of participants studios' patchwork amusement ».
For 3,5 years of studio work was prepared and carried out 10 independent exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, as well as in Canada, USA and Japan. Studio is the winner of festivals "patchwork mosaic of Russia" (2007, 2009) and winner of competitions for the best collective work (2008, 2009).
