Today, 17 October, at the Central House of Artists of Russia opens XXVII Antique Salon - the main event at the antique art market in Russia.

During the week the best from Russia and abroad galleries will exhibit the widest range of collectors' items: from basic fabrics to the classic monuments of culture and life. Capital oldest antiques fair opens its doors in the 27-th time, marking the beginning of the season in the domestic market of antiques.

The exhibition of the Salon this fall would be presented relatively new to the domestic antique market areas - the archaeological artifacts and old weapons. Natural consequence of the economic crisis was the redistribution of collections, and things that only recently seemed inaccessible and permanently settled in someone's hands, will be open to interested collectors.

richness and diversity of proposals each year leads to the salon more than 30 000 visitors. Russia Antique Salon has long been one of the most important events of the secular and artistic life of the capital. He took a firm place in the calendar, along with major museum exhibitions, biennials, festivals.
