Some items from the national collection at the time of the works will be exhibited in other museums and galleries. However, the Minister of Culture of Sweden believes that the seven years - too long, so the final decision on this issue has not yet been taken.
The National Museum of Sweden, kept about 16 thousand paintings and sculptures created in the period from the late Middle Ages to the beginning of XX century. In addition, the collection has about 30 thousand pieces of decorative art and design, as well as 500 thousand pictures and samples of printed graphics.
