Spanish experts believe that Picasso borrowed some images for the famous “Guernica” Mosarabskoy from medieval Bible

Spanish experts have found a surprising similarity between the figures shown in the famous painting «Guernica» Pablo Picasso (Pablo Picasso), and illustrations from the Bible Mosarabskoy tenth century, which is stored in the cathedral city of Leon. As the director of the Museum of the Cathedral of Maximo Gomez Raskon (Máximo Gómez Rascón), the Bible was exhibited in Barcelona in 1929 and then in Paris in 1937. Therefore, it is likely that Picasso, who in 1937 worked on «Guernica» for the Spanish pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris, could see contained in the ancient book of drawings and use these images for their products.

Similarities are particularly evident in the figure of a bull, a symbol of the Holy Bible Louka, the head of a horse from Picasso's like a lion from the medieval Bible, as well as those of some people.

Director of Museum Leonean cathedral is convinced that these similarities can not be random, and believes that Picasso «definitely» saw Mosarabskuyu Bible. His opinion is also supported by the painter Benito Eskarpizo (Benito Escarpizo), previously taught at the School of Applied Arts in Leone: «If the similarities so great in the picture, they are more visible in the sketches». According to him, these details become abundantly clear that the Bible has to Mosarabskaya Picasso's inspiration.
