Paris Louvre has received 1 million euros from the American charity Annenberg Foundation (Annenberg Foundation) to develop new projects in education, aimed at attracting the attention of children and young people to art. These funds will help prepare a new program in which younger visitors will be able to become acquainted with the masterpieces from the museum collection. This project was made possible through the support of a non-profit organization called the «American Friends of the Louvre», the main aim is to strengthen ties between the French and American museum audience.

Additional training for this is not necessary, moreover, these kits will be adapted for different levels of learning. Pupils will be asked to take five different subjects (eg, «My first visit to the Louvre»), through which they can learn not only about the collection of the Louvre, but also about art in general. The purpose of this program - to prepare visitors for self-study museum.

«Baskets with discoveries». Employees of the Louvre is also planning to develop a so-called. «Baskets with discoveries» - mobile learning which is housed directly in the halls of the museum. There will be a variety of items: reproductions of works of art, handouts, and even interactive computer systems designed for groups of up to 15 people. They will be able to take visitors from different countries. «Baskets», no doubt, will be very interesting for parents visiting the museum with their children.

Multimedia program. To supplement the above-mentioned educational projects, in the Louvre will be a special multimedia program available on DVD or on the Internet. They will help young visitors to playfully explore works from the collections of the Louvre, as well as the historic environment of the time in which they were created.
