When viewing a treatise on the flight of birds, painted by Leonardo in the late XV - early XVI century, Angela noticed the text reddish stain, the shape of the nose. Researchers believe that Leonardo created the figure in the period between 1482 and 1489 years when he worked in Milan at the court of the Duke Lodoviko Sforza (Ludovico Sforza). By the same date from the period and an outline of decorating Eight central pages of manuscript.
Police experts in Rome to compare the figure with other portraits of da Vinci, including his famous self-portrait (ca. 1512-1515). To do this, they use digital technology to model the images from which you can imagine how a person looked like in their youth or in old age. They also appealed to oral surgeons, asking him to compare the portraits. The surgeon confirmed that the portrait depicts the same man.
