Bell «Ivan the Great» adapted for exhibitions
After years of restoration for the visitors opened the Kremlin bell tower «Ivan the Great», within which the custodian was able to place a small museum. It displays the architectural details and decoration of churches already exist: the first Cathedral of the Assumption, Chudovo monastery, John Bell Tower Ladder. About RIA Novosti reported the deputy director of the Kremlin museums Andrei Batalov.
«All the information that accompanies the objects made of multimedia tools in order not to touch the wall and does not radically change the face of the bell tower interior, which in itself is a major exposure», - explained Batalov.
In «Ivan the Great» be allowed only to organized groups of visitors. The observation platform is located at an altitude of 30 meters - the first-tier bell tower, will be working in summer.
In 2008, there 500 years, bell tower, bell tower of the past 90 years has been closed. A comprehensive restoration of the monument was completed in 2007.
