In France, a FIAC art fair

From 23 to 26 October in Paris will be the largest in the French contemporary art fair. It will bring together 180 galleries

It will be held from 23 to 26 October. Stands galleries are located in three locations: the Grand Palais, in a square yard of the Louvre and the Tuileries garden. This year's Art Fair will bring together 180 galleries, including the three galleries of Russia - «Aidan», Gallery M & Z Gelman and XL. 66 participating galleries - from France, and the remaining 114 - from other countries. Most dealers will be out of Germany and the United States.

Under the fair will be organized various activities, including public auctions and exhibitions. In the garden of the Tuileries accommodate some 20 monumental sculptures and installations. In addition, the work of the nominees will be exhibited at the Marcel Duchamp Prize (Prix Marcel Duchamp), the main award in France in the field of contemporary art. Nominee of the year - Michel Blazy (Michel Blazy), Stéphane Calais (Stéphane Calais), Laurent Grasso (Laurent Grasso) and Marcel Didier (Didier Marcel). Marcel Duchamp Prize is an analogue of the British Turner Prize.

The fair will also get Yearbook Artprice, which examines the situation in the market of contemporary art. This 184-page publication will be free to take it.

Those who will leave for France at the FIAC, is given a chance to see many interesting exhibits in Paris and the surrounding area: Jeff Koons (Jeff Koons) in Versailles , Picasso (Pablo Picasso) and inspired him artists in the Grand Palais, the Louvre Museum and d'Orse , the Italian Futurists and «new realist » Villegle Jacques (Jacques Villeglé) at the Center Pompidou, another« new realist », César (César) in the Fondation Cartier and Emil Nolde (Emil Nolde) at Grand Palais.
