Community Board was composed of about sixty people, including architects Avvakumov Yuri and Yevgeny Ass, president of the Union of Architects of Russia Yury Gnedovsky, curator Andrei Erofeev, fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev, artist Oleg Kulik, director of the Museum of Architecture David Sarkisyan, director of the Moscow House photos Olga Sviblova, TV, Svetlana Sorokina, an art critic and journalist Artemy Troitsky.

On Tuesday, the Board has developed a memorandum for circulation in the Public Chamber, Mosgordumu and the State Duma. «The participants call on the authorities to stop the implementation of development projects on the Crimean shaft to engage in dialogue with the public and professionals in the field of culture of the principles and strategies for the development of the area», - stated in the document.

According to the Council, «professional cultural community should be involved in the development and adoption of policy decisions, the concepts of city planning and architectural projects. Any changes initiated in this area should be a public examination ».

RIA «News» notes that mid-September, the beginning of its activities the working group on the project of constructing a new building for the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val and integrated development of the adjacent territory. To participate in it have been invited as representatives of the Tretyakov Gallery, which occupies most of the CHA, and the International Confederation of Unions of Artists.

According to the wishes of the gallery and the confederation, they should build on Krymsky Val, two separate buildings, and then can begin the demolition of CHA.

If the government would take into account the requirements of cultural institutions, the construction will take place at the Park «Muzeon».

In this regard, the CHA director Vasily Bychkov fears that cultural change is now the dominant feature of the territory and dramatically increase the environmental and infrastructure pressures.
