In the next three days at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art will attend lectures by Boris Groys

Moscow School of photos and multimedia of A. Rodchenko and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art are invited to visit a course of lectures by Boris Groys «Art in the XXI century. From the object to the event ».

In the course over three days will be considered on two topics:

1. Time based art - art of operating with the times: performance, film, video, saundinstallyatsiya, etc.

2. Works of art in the era of digitalization - the art and the Internet.

Boris Groys was born in 1947 in East Berlin. A graduate of Leningrad State University (department of mathematical logic). From 1976 to 1980 worked at the Department of Structural and Applied Linguistics at Moscow State University. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Since 1981 lives in Germany. In 1988-1994 taught at the philosophical faculty of the University of Munster. C 1994 professor of philosophy, art theory and new media at the National School of Design in Karlsruhe. The author of 26 books and over 250 articles published in 12 languages.
