French Museum of American Art (Musee d'Art Americain, MAAG), located in Giverny, the concept has changed: since the spring of 2009 he focus on the «impressionist as a global phenomenon». Annual budget of the museum will be updated about three million euro, writes The Art Newspaper.

MAAG was conceived in 1992 as a monument to the colony of artists from the United States, at the end of XIX century, placed in the famous Claude Monet painting village (ibid., at Giverny, and the house is a museum of Monet). Now the study of American painting and its representatives in the Old World will be the Paris branch of Terra, specializing in the promotion of American Art. MAAG was established by the same fund.
