Damien Hurst to open shop next door to Sotheby's
British artist Damien Hurst promises to open a store in a house located next to the auction house Sotheby's. The new boutique will appear in London before the end of the year
As reported by Bloomberg, the famous British artist Damien Hurst (Damien Hirst) in the near future, open up shop in London, which will be located next to the auction house Sotheby's on New Bond Street.
Earlier, Hurst has already announced its plans to open a shop. In February this year, the artist said he wanted to open a boutique at Merilebon-Hay Street, where you can buy various products: from books and T-shirts to jewelry. But those plans have not yet materialized.
According to the company Hirst Other Criteria, the second store will open next door to Sotheby's at the end of this year. You can purchase books, posters and the many strange things, which are now sold on the site
After three weeks of September 15-16, held a solo auction of Hirst «Beautiful Inside My Head Forever», prepared by Sotheby's. At the auction will be exhibited new works by the artist, for which organizers suggest obtained over 65 million pounds (119.5 million U.S.).
