Status of frescoes by Andrei Rublev is aggravated by dust, moisture, and changes in temperature. «The doors did not close. The flow of visitors is huge, constantly burning candles low quality: all of this consumer attitude to an ancient jewel, and provides long-term restoration work », - noted Skvortsov. «You can engage in endless patchwork elimination of problems on the walls of the temple, but the humidity is constantly penetrates inside and destroying the entire painting.
