In connection with the arrival of a large number of applications related to state accreditation organizations engaged in the management of copyright and related rights on a collective basis, as well as changes in the structure of public authorities, said.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia on May 12, 2008 number 724 Rossvyazohrankultura transformed into the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications and Mass Communications and the Federal Service for Supervision of compliance with legislation for the protection of cultural heritage.
According to the Status of «On the Federal Service for Supervision in the field of protection of cultural heritage», approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 29, 2008 number 407, the function of the state accreditation of organizations carrying out collective management of copyright and related rights vested in the Federal Service for Supervision of compliance with legislation for the protection of cultural heritage.
Please note that currently, none of the organizations carrying out collective management of copyright and related rights, has not received state accreditation.
