As was reported at the last moment, the list of works that are planned to bring to Moscow, the organizers added a famous painting by John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) «The Holy Tsetsiliya» (St Cecilia). Cloth, owned by private foundations, has been specifically granted to participate in this exhibition. This is one of the most famous paintings in the works prerafaelitov, and it is not intended for sale.

Before his visit to Moscow, the picture was exhibited in the Tate Gallery (London).

From 14 May the exhibition will be open for visits.

P. S. «Brotherhood prerafaelitov» (also known as «prerafaelity») was founded in 1848 and was made up of British artists, writers and critics protesting the academic tradition and considered a model for replication of early Italian Renaissance art (up to Rafael). Its founders were John Everett Millet, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, William Hunt Hill.
