It is planned that in the framework of this project with the help of VR technology will include not only an exhibition of the works not yet named artists of the gallery, but a tour of existing only in a virtual layout of the building ArtLab in Menorca, Spain.
According to Ivan Wirth, co-founder and owner of the gallery Hauser & Wirth, "many of the best innovation due to necessity. When we created ArtLab and started working on HWVR, our main goal was to develop technologies that would help our artists visualize the space, which will be presented their work. We wanted to be able to plan our exhibitions around the world thus to reduce the number of pre-travel and extra traffic. Given the current situation, when so many of us are in isolation, we accelerated the startup programs ArtLab exhibitions and especially in virtual reality, to be able to visit as many people as possible, gather them in one place, even if physically it is impossible."
