From the priest's family; brother of the architect П. А. Голосова. Studied at the Central Stroganov school of technical drawing (1898-1908), MUZHVZ (1907-1912), the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture at Imperial Academy of arts (1912-1915). During his studies he worked as assistant to architects Л. М. Браиловского, И. С. Кузнецова, С. У. Соловьева, А. В. Иванова, А. А. Остроградского, А. В. Щусева, И. Э. Грабаря. Performed measurements of architectural monuments for publication "History of Russian architecture" and the magazine "Old years".

he Lived in Moscow. Completed projects and built mansions Zimin in kirzach (1912) and Zuev in Moscow (1913). Created projects of several apartment houses and churches. In 1914 he was called up for military service; until 1918 was engaged in the construction of buildings to the rear.

From 1918 работал under the leadership И. В. Жолтовского in the architectural Studio of the Moscow city Council; participated in the development of the first plan of reconstruction of Moscow, in contests for low-rise residential houses, various social and economic structures.
