In 1889-1894 he studied at the IAH in ND Kuznetsov. During the period of study was repeatedly awarded: in 1891 - a small silver medal in 1892 - a large silver medal in 1893 - big and small silver medals. In 1893 he graduated from the course of studies, in 1894 for his film "Departure for the position of" class artist awarded the title of the 3rd degree.

lived in St. Petersburg. He worked in the field of easel and monumental painting. In 1905, implemented a number of tracks from the Gospels for the Church of the Kazan Mother of God at the Alexander Mariinsky house charity supernumerary and orphans of the clergy.
