Studied at the Kiev art school (1910-1917), Kazan architectural-художественных workshops (Aromas, 1921-1922). Member of the Civil war (1918).

he Lived in Kazan (until 1926), then — in Moscow. Worked on the poster, monumental art, stage design, book design, bookplates; worked in the techniques of woodcuts and linocuts. Created portraits, landscapes, thematic compositions. In 1921-1926 he worked in Kazan experimental workshops of modern theatre. He was one of the organizers of the Union "Sunflower" (1918). In 1921 he headed the graphic collective "Rider" (1921); participated in the publication of the almanac. Member Of Title (1923-1926).

Performed the drawings for the newspaper "Red Tataria" (1924), the posters for the publishers of the all, "Young guard", "Mezhrabpomfilm"; collaborated with the magazines "Spotlight", "Red students". Designed productions in various theaters of Moscow. During the great Patriotic war he worked in the "Windows TASS".

From 1914 — participated in exhibitions. A member and Exhibitor associations "Sunflower" (1918), "October" (1930).
