There is not a lot of information about biography of the artist.

Iosif Konstantinovsky painted landscapes and portraits. He took part in the exhibitions of the Society of Independent Artists in Odessa (1918), in the First people’s exhibition of paintings, posters, signboards and children’s art (1919) and others.

In 1919 Konstantinovsky immigrated to Palestine; in 1920s he settled in Paris. He exposed his works at the Salon of Independents (1928–1931), the Salon Tuileries (1932–1933), and Autumn Salon (1930s). Several personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Paris galleries.

Since 1965 Iosif Konstantinovsky lived in Israel.
