he Studied at the Tbilisi Academy of arts (1954-1960) on graphic faculty at В. И. Шухаева, С. С. Кобуладзе, И. А. Шарлеманя.

Live in Moscow (1963), in 1990-2000-х he lived and worked in Germany. In the late 1960 — 1970-х closer to the range of artists-нонконформистов: О. Я. Рабиным, А. Т. Зверевым, В. И. Яковлевым, А. К. Паустовским, Д. П. Плавинским, В. Н. Немухиным and others. Has developed its own style of writing — "peri-пэритан" (color to color), which consists in the desire to combine the color spots on the surface so that eventually disappeared tonal perspective, and color. Author of landscapes, still lifes, portraits, abstract and semi-abstract compositions. Did the artwork for the film "Sasha" А. В. Сурина (1981, Mosfilm; together with Г. Кошелевым).

His personal exhibitions were held in Ispra (1968, the House of culture), Moscow (1970 — Institute of psychology of the USSR Academy of Sciences; 1981 — a Committee of artists-графиков on Malaya Gruzinskaya street; 1996 — ROSIZO, 2010 — State exhibition hall "On Kashirka"), Vienna, Eitorf (1991), Konstanz (1996), Tbilisi (2000-2001, Historical Museum).

Led an art club for children in workshop on Zubovskaya square (1960-70-е).
