the Initial art education in the elementary school drawing, sketching and sculpting А. Л. Штиглица in St. Petersburg. In the second half of 1900-х — early 1910-х was in school-студии В. Н. Мешкова in Moscow, the Moscow school of painting (graduated in 1914) А. Е. Архипова, К. А. Коровина, С. В. Малютина.

he Lived in Moscow. During the First world war, he was mobilized for military service; was at the front (1914-1918). During the Civil war fought in the ranks of the red Army on the Western front (1918-1921).

In 1932 as part of a team AHR participated in the trip to the far East.

Worked as a landscape painter, genre painter, portraitist. 1910 — participated in exhibitions. A member and Exhibitor AHRR — akhr (1922-1929), member of the Central Council of AHRR. Participated in the exhibitions "Red Army. 1918-1923" (1923), "XV years of the red army" (1933) in Moscow.

Works are in several Museum collections, including the State Tretyakov gallery.
