lived in St. Petersburg. He worked in the field of easel painting, he wrote still lifes, portraits and genre paintings in the tradition of "academic salon. Reproduced works in various periodicals, notably in the magazine "Niva".

Since 1898 (until 1918) participated in exhibitions of the St. Petersburg Society of Artists (from 1914 - Petrograd Society of Artists), the Association of Artists. Works on display also at the First State Free Exhibition of works of art in Petrograd (1919).
