NESTEROVA Natalia Igorevna

Natalia Nesterova studied at Moscow Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov from 1962 till 1968, under the guidance of D. D. Zhilinsky.

Since 1991 Nesterova was a professor at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. She was a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (1992), the Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation (1994), laureate of the Triumph Prize (2003). Nesterova is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Nesterova lives and works in Moscow and in the USA.

Works by Natalia Nesterova are in the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), in the museum collections of Saratov, Arkhangelsk, Perm and other cities of Russia, the Ludwig Museum (Cologne) and in the Guggenheim Museum (New York).
